Comparative test of high temperature resistance of voice coil insulating paint (SV glue): Bunte products achieve zero cresol

1. Industry background: High-end voice coil paint has long relied on imports

SV glue is mainly used in voice coil skeleton coating glue and voice coil enameled wire self-adhesive topcoat. Different from traditional insulating paints (Fan Lishui), voice coil insulation paints not only require extremely high temperature resistance levels (above 300°C), but also need to take into account a series of strict indicators such as mellow solubility and tensile strength. Due to China's late start and backward technology, the SV rubber of domestic voice coil manufacturers has long relied on Japanese imports, and high-end audio technology has been controlled by foreign countries. In response to customer needs, BONT established the SV adhesive project R&D team in 2017, which took 6 years to successfully overcome the technical problems of SV adhesive. In addition to the performance that perfectly meets customer needs, the product does not contain cresol, which is more environmentally friendly, and realizes the corner overtaking of foreign products. At present, it has been used in batches in many large voice coil enterprises in China.

2. Comparative test of temperature resistance performance: 300°C high temperature measured data

In order to verify the actual performance of BONT SV glue, we have conducted strict temperature resistance tests with mainstream brands on the market

Test Method:

1. Apply SV18, high-temperature resistant SV, a brand of SV in Taiwan, BT-906, BT-906-1, a brand of SV in Japan, helen360 vinyl, on a tinplate sheet, bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour to make a sample (Figure 1), and bake at 300 degrees for 10 minutes (as shown in Figure 2).

Test results:

Each color is darkened, the paint film remains intact, no bubbles, no carbonization. A brand in Taiwan began to have big bubbles; SV-18 and a certain Japanese brand turned black.

Temperature resistance: Helen 360 vinyl (390°C) >BT-906-1 (360-390°C)> BT-906 (360-390°C)> Bonte high temperature resistance SV18 (360°C) > a certain brand of SV glue in Japan = high temperature resistance SV (Bonte phenol-free ordinary SV) ( 330°C-360°C) > a brand in Taiwan (300°C).

3. Environmental protection performance testing: cresol is zero detection, odorless and environmentally friendly, and more environmentally friendly than the previous generation technology (before 2019).

In addition to its performance advantages, BONT SV adhesive has more outstanding advantages in terms of environmental protection. We entrusted a third-party authoritative testing agency WEIPU to conduct strict environmental protection testing on the product (as shown in the picture).

Cresol-free formula: BONT SV glue is completely free of o-cresol, p-cresol, and m-cresol, eliminating harmful substances at the source

Safer production environment: Cresol-free formulations protect the health of production workers and reduce occupational health risks

Comply with international environmental protection standards: meet the strict environmental protection requirements of export products and are not listed in the "Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals (2015 Edition)"

Surpassing imported brands: Traditional imported SV glue contains more cresol ingredients, and Bont has surpassed its environmental performance

4. Conclusion

After 6 years of research and development, Bonte proved with measured data that domestic SV glue is not only usable, but also easy to use! In the 300°C high temperature test, Dongguan Bangte SV glue performed better than or equivalent to imported brands; In the environmental protection test, cresol was detected at zero, which realized the corner overtaking of foreign products.
